Windows 7 User Submissions

Ok, so i obtained a copy of Windows 7 from my last instructor in my CNE-207 course.
Upon trying to install windows 7, after loading the install files it asked for my drivers CD/DVD. I put it in and nothing happened, the CD/DVD drive didn't even try to read it.
So, i used the factory recovery discs to re-intall windows Vista with the correct drivers and settings on a new hard drive.
I am afraid that if i do a clean install i will run into the same problem with windows 7 not being able to find the drivers?
So i was thinking i could do a dual boot, so i could locate the drivers i need on the vista partition. OR... I was even thinking, i could put the drivers an another very small partition on the hard drive so that i could access them during the Windows 7 install.
NOTE: When i ran into the driver issues while installing windows 7, the only option it gave me to locate them was to look through the different drives and locate them there.
Since it was a brand new hard drive.. There was nothing there except the new hard drive (BOOT X:/).
Please any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated as i am trying to complete this intall today!!
Thanks again.
