Microsoft gets the return of their investment when the sales reach 1 or 2 million copies. That means that Microsoft gets the return of their investment in the first days of sells.

Don't feel sorry for Microsoft: they are not threaten by piracy; Microsoft is worst than piracy! Pirates steal MS products and give them away; MS makes products and sell them 200 X their worth.
