A Windows 7 BUG

by Bill K
(Waldorf, Md)

Thought I’d share this “bug” from my new computer,Dell Studio XPS-8000, AND WINDOWS 7 (What do you think it is ???? Both Dell & MSN Verizon have no clue)

I have MSN Premium and can log on, no problem. The problem is this message error when I go to certain sites and go to a link. For example.,

I go to a web site called The Maryland State Lottery. Fine, I’m in there. Then I go to a link at the bottom of their page, Past Numbers Results…….and this pops up:

MSN.EXE-No Disk
X There is no disk in the Drive. Please insert a disc into Drive DeviceHarddisk2DR2

and 3 choices:

CANCEL TRY AGAIN CONTINUE

And as I press each one, then hit the X in the upper right corner, it goes away and I get to the Past Numbers page……….
This error came up in another program too.

Now, this does not happen when I use Internet Explorer, ONLY with MSN.Premium. ?????
Now, apparently others have this too. Finally, the Dell guy said it appears to be a BUG with Windows 7 and they will eventually have a patch to correct it……
Nevered happened with my Dell 2400 & XP !!!
