Double click to the incon of "Sony Smarrt Network" in the right down coner, you can see the wireless start working even there's nothing show on the panel. I have SZ 651NC running on Vista and got the same problem with win 7. I solved it that way. Sony is too late to upgrade their driver for windws 7 but I think it'll come soon.
