Windows 7: Game Controllers

Windows 7 Game Controllers

Windows 7 does not support game controllers that use connections other than USB.

In order to install a game controller, you need to follow the instructions that come with it, but the OS usually does a good job of auto-configuring most controllers as soon as they are plugged into your computer.

In the Game Controllers tab, you are able to control settings that configure the game controllers installed on your computer.

The installed game controllers are displayed in the tab, and their properties may be displayed and configured by clicking on the properties button.

Here you can perform functions such as calibration and testing of controllers. Clicking on the Advanced button allows you to configure your controller to work with earlier programs.
