My experience with Windows 7 RC 1
Let me preface my comments by saying that Windows 7 RC 1 installs and works fine on my HP Laptop.
On my AMD 64 HP Media Center PC with 3 gigs of RAM, no dice.
I have installed the RC from a DVD, from the extracted iso on a local hard drive, as an upgrade and as a new install on a separate partition.
No dice.
I also have tried to install the new Windows 7 RC 1 O.S. as both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
No dice.
In all cases, it dies after the second reboot..

It's weird because my desktop PC is the only one giving me RC 1 trouble. Every other PC I have was able to upgrade to Windows 7 RC 1.
My current O.S. is Windows Vista Ultimate. (Genuine, no fake key or torrent).
In light of my case, I would love to hear from you guys...Have you had any installation problems with Windows 7 RC 1?
UPDATE!! 5/18/2009
I downloaded the RC 1 version again and tried one last time and it worked. Not exactly sure why it worked this time and I really don't care. It works and I have made the move and yes, it's great.
