So, I have noticed something interesting as I have been working with Windows 7.
It seems to break Google Chrome when I work on it.
Not sure what’s going on but I use Chrome every single day and usually have between 8 and 16 tabs open at any point in time.
I started noticing that after a while, Chrome was behaving erratically. It would freeze after 5 or 6 tabs opened at once.
I have Firefox and Safari on the same computer and they are able to handle comparable loads easily so I know it’s not a system or RAM issue.
I also have a pretty powerful PC so i know it’s not a PC issue.
Here’s what happens. I noticed that when I go to my toolbar and open up Chrome
, two sessions open up.
Seems curious to me that the default number of services would be 2 but this article on Google’s support forum seems to explain why.
I then proceed to work and less than 3 minutes later when I open up my 6th or 7th tab.. the screen freezes on me.
Is anyone else having problems with Chrome?
