64 bit problems and solutions

64 bit is great ive noticed some programs like winrar are about 20 times faster then there x86 counterpart, but some older games dont run on x64 and some games run but crash.
i think windows 7 needs a service pack to fix this at the moment the only advantages i see are diretX 11, pixel shader 4 and having over 4GB OF RAM, I HAVE 16,

if you have 4gig ram and 3 gig usable that means there is 1gb of ram shared with your video card,

and win 7 will show as not legal on a mac because windows DOES NOT support mac,

ppl that have got really old programs HAVE YOU TRIED USING A VIRTUAL MACHINE USING VMWARE, install XP 32 bit under a virtual machine and any old game will work
